Bomb & Shooting Threats for FanFest

On January 30th, 2022 a Reddit post was created that warned future Fan Festival attendees about a FFXIV player that planned to bring guns to the event while politically canvasing. This player, known as "Holy Terror" or "Goth Brooks" is widely know throughout the community as a Nazi & keeps Nazi dog whistles as his profile picture on social media.

Twitter user Haurchefant @hersheyfont has kept a detailed account of the situation, and has supplied many screen shots to back the claims.

Additionally, Goth Brooks/Holy Terror has plans to hand out Christian propaganda and push debates about the United States constitution while openly carrying a firearm. He has unabashedly communicated that he's doxed an entire school board (allegedly including another FFXIV player} & distributed the information to his own community. This resulted in an unknown number of people seeking out the school board member's homes to, quote, "[exercise] their first amendment rights". By his own admission, he has been involved with lawsuits and have restraining orders against him. Fearing for the safety of Con goers and the general public alike, the FBI has been contacted are are fully aware of this individual. If you or someone you know plans on attending Fan Festival, please be cautious and report anything suspicious to law enforcement and on-site staff.
